Dymun Dupree, a 26-year-old Black transgender woman from Warner Robins, Georgia, was found dead on May 12, 2016, in Macon, GA. Her remains were discovered in an empty lot on Feagin Road, and due to the advanced state of decomposition, initial identification was challenging. The body was eventually identified through DNA testing in September 2019, confirming her identity as Dymun Dupree, also known as Danzar Gooden.
The investigation revealed that Dymun Dupree had suffered a violent death.
