Maurice Cosby, a 25-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on June 4, 2015, in Atlanta, Georgia. The incident occurred at Underground Atlanta, a popular shopping and entertainment district. According to reports, Maurice Cosby was involved in an altercation with Allan Dumas, a 24-year-old male, which escalated into a fatal shooting. Cosby was shot in the neck and was immediately taken to Grady Memorial Hospital, where he was pronounced dead shortly after.
