On February 14, 2015, Marcus Peek, aged 37, and his younger brother Ras Aole JaJa Peek, aged 32, were tragically shot to death inside their home in southwest Atlanta. The police were called to the residence on Mims Street around 8:30 a.m. after reports of gunshots earlier in the morning. Upon arrival, officers discovered both men dead from gunshot wounds, along with their pet dog, which had also been shot but survived.
