In the early morning hours of a summer Saturday in Morrow, Georgia, tragedy struck at a local establishment, forever altering the lives of those present. On August 8, 2015, Reginald Foster, a 29-year-old man, was inside Ms. Jack's Place on Maddox Road when a violent encounter cut his life short. Shortly before 3 a.m., the sound of a gunshot pierced the bar's atmosphere.
Foster was shot and subsequently rushed to Southern Regional Hospital, but his injuries proved to be fatal.
The investigation into the shooting quickly pointed to a suspect. Witnesses at the scene identified the alleged shooter as Quantavius Robinson, who was also known by the nickname “Ray Ray.” Based on the accounts of those who witnessed the incident, the Clayton County Police Department moved to secure warrants for Robinson's arrest. The charges sought against him were severe, including murder, aggravated assault, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime. Law enforcement officials publicly appealed for any information that could lead to the whereabouts and apprehension of Robinson.
