Daveat C. Morgan, a 22-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on February 18, 2019, in Morrow, Georgia. The incident occurred late at night near an apartment building at the Southwood Apartments on Trammell Road. Daveat had recently moved to Clayton County from Georgia in search of better opportunities. On the night of his death, police received a 911 call reporting a person shot.
