Anthony Barber, a 25-year-old African American male from Valdosta, Georgia, was found shot to death on August 17, 2015. His body was discovered behind a vacant house on Ricardo Street by an individual who was inspecting the property for rent. The Valdosta Police Department (VPD) responded to the scene and identified Barber as the victim. He had sustained multiple gunshot wounds to his torso, indicating a violent and deliberate attack.
