On September 27, 2023, Elijah Davis, a 26-year-old resident of Valdosta, Georgia, lost his life due to a violent incident involving a narcotics transaction. The incident occurred in the 1500 block of Willie Houseal Drive in Valdosta, where Davis was found lying in a parking lot after being shot. He later succumbed to his injuries.
