Ricky Smith, a 53-year-old African American man, was tragically killed on September 5, 2015, in Macon, Georgia. The incident occurred at his residence on Macon Avenue around 1 a.m. Ricky Smith was found with a gunshot wound to the chest and was pronounced dead shortly after being transported to the Medical Center, Navicent Health. The circumstances surrounding his death were initially unclear, but it was later revealed that his girlfriend, Donna Jackson, was involved in the incident.
