In the late hours of a Sunday in March 2018, a house party on Ibex Street in Macon, Georgia, turned into a scene of violence that would claim the life of 21-year-old Monterrius Malik Dugger. An argument erupted at the gathering, which was reportedly being held at a 'liquor house,' a location known for the illegal sale of alcoholic beverages.
