In the quiet community of Acworth, Georgia, a heartbreaking incident unfolded on October 27, 2015, leading to the death of two-year-old Waylon Dennington. The young male child discovered his father's semi-automatic handgun, which had been placed in a holster on his parents' bed. While his father, Grant Dennington, was briefly in the bathroom, the toddler handled the firearm, resulting in a fatal self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head.
