Mario Collier, a 27-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on August 30, 2016, in Atlanta, Georgia. The incident occurred at the Lakeview Trails apartments in Clayton County, where Collier, along with Robert Dixon Jr., 26, and Lakisha Davis, 23, were found shot multiple times. The initial police response was to a domestic dispute call, but upon arrival, officers found no one answering the door.
