On a blistering hot Thursday afternoon in Atlanta, Georgia, the life of Allen Charles Tenenbaum, a 48-year-old male, was tragically cut short on July 29, 1999. Tenenbaum, a respected grocery store owner and the president of Congregation Or VeShalom, a Sephardic synagogue, was at the All-Tech Investment Group in the city's Buckhead district, where he engaged in recreational day trading. That day, his plans for a weekend of family, synagogue, and rest were violently disrupted by a mass shooting.
