Allen Charles Tenenbaum, a 48-year-old Jewish man, was tragically killed on July 29, 1999, in a mass shooting incident in Atlanta, Georgia. Tenenbaum, who was the president of Congregation Or VeShalom, a Sephardic synagogue, and a grocery store owner, was among the victims of Mark Barton’s deadly rampage. Barton, a day trader, went on a shooting spree that resulted in the deaths of nine individuals, including Tenenbaum, before taking his own life.
