In the early morning hours of February 7, 2025, a young father's life was tragically cut short in a sudden act of violence in the parking lot of a McDonald's on Virginia Avenue in East Point, Georgia. Quintavious Clark, a 24-year-old male, was sitting in his vehicle at approximately 2:10 a.m. when another car, described by authorities as a red sedan, pulled up in front of his.
Without warning, an occupant of the red sedan opened fire, discharging multiple rounds into Clark's vehicle.
He was struck at least once and succumbed to his injuries at the scene before he could be transported for medical assistance. Investigators have described the victim as both a son and a father.
As of now, the investigation into the shooting is ongoing, and authorities have not publicly identified any suspects or a motive for the deadly assault. The East Point police are actively seeking assistance from the public to help identify the red sedan and the individual or individuals involved in the fatal shooting. They have shared a photo of the suspect's vehicle in the hopes that a witness will come forward with information that could lead to an arrest.
