Death by Force

On July 13, 2023, Quentavious Gooden, a 28-year-old husband and father of two from Atlanta, Georgia, was fatally shot in the Buffington Park subdivision of South Fulton, Georgia. The incident occurred outside a residence on the 6100 block of Lamp Post Place, where Gooden had stopped to speak with Rodney Jarrell, the identified suspect. According to witnesses, Gooden and Jarrell had a brief and seemingly cordial conversation before Jarrell opened fire on Gooden's vehicle as he drove away.
