Larry Jones, a 38-year-old African American man, was tragically shot on March 26, 2019, in Atlanta, Georgia. The incident occurred on Vanira Avenue, where Jones was involved in a verbal altercation with an unknown man that escalated to gunfire. Jones was critically injured and subsequently required the use of a wheelchair due to the severity of his injuries.
