In a tragic turn of events that began with a dispute over a parking incident, Larry Jones, a 38-year-old man from Atlanta, was shot in the back on the evening of March 26, 2019. The altercation occurred at an apartment complex on Vanira Avenue in southeast Atlanta. Jones, who was also known as 'Lil' Larry,' had reportedly cautioned a man who was backing up a Dodge pickup truck about getting too close to his vehicle.
