Marquez Montgomery, a 15-year-old African American male from Atlanta, GA, tragically lost his life on November 28, 2016. Marquez was a sophomore at Mays High School and a defensive football player for the school's team. On the evening of his death, Marquez was at home on Adkins Road when he was fatally shot in the head. The incident occurred around 7:15 p.m., and Marquez was pronounced dead shortly after police arrived at the scene.
