In the late summer of 2022, a 32-year-old father named Billy Leon Robertson III vanished from his mother's home in Springhill, Louisiana. He had recently gone through a difficult breakup with his fiancée and had moved back in with his parents. Described as being extremely depressed and upset over the end of his relationship, he had been crying throughout the day of his disappearance.
