In the late summer of 2019, concern grew for the well-being of 54-year-old Keith Davis. His last known whereabouts were in the Monroe, Louisiana area. Specifically, he was seen walking in the Swartz area, near Mac's Fresh Market, on a path that would take him east on Desiard Street. At the time of his disappearance, it was thought that he might have been making his way towards Winnsboro, another town in Louisiana. The circumstances surrounding why he was walking and his intended destination remain unclear, adding a layer of uncertainty to his case from the very beginning. Keith was a Black man with black hair and brown eyes. He stood at approximately 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighed between 160 and 180 pounds. When he was last seen, he was dressed in a gray camouflage-print shirt and pants, and was wearing brown boots. He may have also had a beard and mustache at the time. His family and local law enforcement were alerted when he failed to make contact, and efforts to locate him began. The Monroe Police Department officially took on the investigation, but details in the case have been scarce. Despite the passage of time, there has been no significant information released to the public that would indicate his whereabouts or what may have happened to him after he was last seen walking on that September day. The lack of available details has made it difficult for those who knew him and the wider community to understand the events leading to his disappearance. The case remains a quiet but persistent mystery, an unanswered question for his family and the investigators involved, leaving them to wonder about the fate of Keith Davis.
