Don'Tavia Bryant, a 31-year-old man from Garrison, Texas, traveled to Bossier City, Louisiana, in late February 2023, with the intention of meeting friends at the Margaritaville Casino. He reportedly spoke to his friends by phone around 4:00 a.m. on February 26, 2023, stating he had arrived and was looking for a place to park near the casino.
