Darrell Mack Wells, 31, disappeared on December 26, 2001, after leaving his parents' home in Bossier City, Louisiana, around 2:00 a.m. to assist some friends. He was driving his red 1982 Chevrolet pickup truck, which was later found abandoned on January 1, 2002, in the parking lot of Johnson's Furniture Store near the Shreveport-Barksdale bridge. Wells’ wallet was discovered inside the vehicle, but there were no signs of him, and he has not been heard from since.
