In the autumn of 2016, a Cumming, Georgia man named Jimmy Scott Hendrix, 52, lost his life in a violent encounter that unfolded in his own front yard. The incident, which took place on October 6th, stemmed from a heated argument with his former roommate, Christopher John Puckett. The dispute escalated tragically when Puckett, who was 31 years old at the time, shot Hendrix once in the chest.
