Jabari Pettway, a 23-year-old African American male, was tragically found dead on November 2, 2016, in Snellville, Georgia. His body was discovered near a pasture at the end of Lenora Road by a worker patrolling the area. The worker attempted to revive Pettway but was unsuccessful. The Gwinnett County Fire Department arrived shortly after and declared him dead at the scene. Pettway had suffered multiple gunshot wounds, which were determined to be the cause of his death.
