On the evening of April 19, 2025, at approximately 5:00 p.m., Gwinnett County police officers responded to reports of a shooting on Bryant Drive in the Willingham Manor subdivision near Snellville, Georgia. Upon arrival, they discovered a deceased male near an abandoned vehicle at the end of the cul-de-sac. The victim was identified as Brian Smith, a 22-year-old African American male from Loganville, Georgia.
