In the early morning hours of January 22, 2017, a burst of gunfire shattered the pre-dawn stillness outside a Checkers restaurant in Atlanta, Georgia, leaving 27-year-old Ahmad Johnson and two other men dead. The incident, which unfolded around 3:30 a.m. near Greenbriar Mall, also claimed the lives of Rickie Burke, 28, and David Worrell, 22.
