In the early morning hours of April 22, 2017, on Beverly Avenue in Albany, Georgia, a burst of gunfire shattered the quiet, leading to a tragic conclusion for 18-year-old Quatez Daishon Strong, an African American male. Responding to several calls about the shooting, Albany police discovered a grim scene. Inside a car, they found 15-year-old Jalen Walker, who had already succumbed to his injuries.
