Clifford R. Wright, a 28-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on May 22, 2017, in Augusta, Georgia. The incident occurred at the Yellow Store located on East Boundary Street. According to reports, Wright was shot at least once during an altercation that began outside the store and continued inside. He was pronounced dead at 7:52 PM at Augusta University Medical Center.
