Shep Morrell, a 72-year-old African American man, died on June 23, 2017, in Savannah, Georgia. His death was the result of a shooting incident that occurred during the execution of a search warrant by the Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police Department and the Chatham Narcotics Team at a residence on West 38th Street.
