On August 6th, he was discovered with a fatal gunshot wound to the head on Bernard Street NW. On September 12, 2017, the FBI in Atlanta, working in conjunction with local law enforcement, located and arrested a suspect. Fifty-year-old Michelle Hightower was taken into custody on Chappell Road. Following her arrest, Hightower was charged with the murder of Michael Magee, marking a crucial step in the pursuit of justice for him and his loved ones. The case was then handed over to the Atlanta Police Department for further investigation and legal proceedings.
