In the late summer of 2017, the life of 17-year-old Miles Sanders was tragically cut short in what was initially reported as a gun accident in Marietta, Georgia. On August 27th, police responded to a 911 call from a residence on Wilson Circle, where they found the African American teenager deceased. However, what at first seemed like a tragic mishap soon unraveled into a story of alleged gang-related violence.
