In the early morning hours of October 8, 2017, the life of 27-year-old Sean K. Brooks Jr. was tragically cut short in a shooting that unfolded near the intersection of East 33rd Street and Waters Avenue in Savannah, Georgia. Responding to the scene at approximately 2:50 a.m., officers with the Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police Department found Brooks and another man, 32-year-old Michael Waters, suffering from gunshot wounds.
