In December of 2017, Antoni Zalewski, a 57-year-old man from Illinois, was in Brunswick, Georgia, with plans of remodeling a house he had recently purchased. Tragically, on the evening of Friday, December 8th, his life was cut short when he was found deceased inside the residence on Old Jesup Road. Authorities discovered his body after responding to a request for a welfare check at the property.
The subsequent investigation quickly determined that Zalewski's death was not of natural causes; he had sustained a fatal gunshot wound, and the case was officially ruled a homicide.
