In the early morning hours of March 17, 2018, the body of 22-year-old Corey Joseph Proctor was discovered in the driver's seat of his green Dodge Stratus on the north end of Golden Isles Parkway in Brunswick, Georgia. Proctor, a resident of Brantley County, had sustained a fatal gunshot wound. It was believed he had been killed late on the night of March 16th or early the following morning.
