Charles Lee Workman Sr., a 65-year-old White man, was killed in Brunswick, Georgia, on June 17, 2017, in a case that unfolded in the quiet early-morning hours at a home on Stafford Avenue. Police were sent there at about 5:50 a.m. after a caller reported four men loitering in a yard. When officers arrived, they found Workman inside the residence, lying on the living room floor with a gunshot wound to the abdomen.
