Around 11:15 a.m., officers from the Glynn County Police Department were dispatched to the residence following a
report of a shooting. Upon their arrival, they discovered James Wooten suffering from a critical gunshot wound. Due to the severity of his injuries, he was later airlifted to UF Health Jacksonville, but tragically, he succumbed to his injuries.
