Jarvis Jarquavis Denmark Jr., a 20-year-old African American male, was found dead on September 7, 2021, in Brunswick, Georgia. Jarvis Denmark was reported missing early that morning, and within 90 minutes, officers discovered his body a few blocks away from where he was last seen. He had suffered a fatal gunshot wound. The Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) was called in to assist with the investigation, and his body was transported to the GBI Medical Examiner’s Office for an autopsy.
