Death by Force

Mark Alan Abbott, a 53-year-old Caucasian male, was found dead on January 19, 2018, in his home in Andersonville, Georgia. His death was discovered by family members who found both him and his mother, Ruthe Bracknell, 77, deceased in their residence on Erie Street. The initial investigation revealed that both victims had been shot to death. The Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) and the Macon County Sheriff’s Office were called to the scene to assist with the investigation.
