James "Sam" McCoy, an 83-year-old white male, was found dead from a single gunshot wound on February 21, 2018, in Kingston, Georgia. The incident occurred at his residence on Norton Road. Upon arrival, Bartow County Sheriff's deputies discovered McCoy's body inside the house, where he was pronounced dead at the scene.
