Rufus J. Mabry Jr., a 30-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on June 2, 2018, in Columbus, Georgia. The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning in the parking lot of the MLK Grocery Store. Mabry was discovered by Columbus police officers shortly before 2:30 a.m., suffering from fatal gunshot wounds.
