Death by Force

Dedrell Knox, a 41-year-old African American male, was found dead on August 26, 2018, in front of an apartment complex in northwest Atlanta, Georgia. His body was discovered lying in a grassy area at approximately 3:45 a.m. He had sustained multiple gunshot wounds to the buttocks and back. At the time of his death, Knox was carrying a large sum of cash, and narcotics were found in his apartment, suggesting a possible drug-related motive for the shooting.
