Freddy Mendoza, a 37-year-old Hispanic male, was tragically shot and killed on September 16, 2021, in Brookhaven, a suburb of Atlanta, Georgia. The incident occurred at the Parke Towne North Apartments on North Cliff Valley Way. Around 4:30 p.m., multiple 911 calls reported "shots fired and a person screaming" at the apartment complex. When police arrived, they found Freddy Mendoza suffering from at least one gunshot wound. Despite lifesaving efforts, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
