On a Sunday night in Atlanta, Georgia, a house party on Landrum Drive took a tragic turn, ending the life of 27-year-old Tyriq Cornell Livatt, an African American male. The gathering, which took place on March 31, 2019, devolved into violence when a man opened fire, striking five people around 11:00 p.m. Livatt succumbed to his injuries from the shooting.
