Death by Force

On June 10, 2016, Homer Thirkield, 19, was fatally shot in southwest Atlanta. The incident occurred near Sylvan Road, where witnesses reported hearing about 10 gunshots. Thirkield had walked out of a house when someone opened fire. After being shot, he was placed in a vehicle, and the driver attempted to take him to a hospital.
