On a Saturday night in Union City, Georgia, a man by the name of Alehandro Jerry Brown, aged 49, tragically lost his life. The incident occurred on April 20, 2019, at a Chevron gas station located at 5851 Buffington Road. It was around 11 p.m. when officers were called to the scene, where they discovered Brown with multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
In the days following the shooting, Union City police began their investigation, releasing photos of three persons of interest. Their efforts led them to identify a primary suspect, 22-year-old Airieon Dominique Young. Law enforcement issued a warrant for Young's arrest in connection with Brown's murder and cautioned that he should be considered armed and dangerous. It is unclear if the other two individuals initially sought by police are still persons of interest in the case.
