Taurus Jermaine Freeman, a 40-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on November 7, 2015, in Union City, Georgia. Freeman was the victim of a violent carjacking that occurred outside a Chevron gas station on Jonesboro Road. Surveillance footage from the gas station captured the harrowing moments leading up to his death.
