In the early hours of May 19, 2019, a male, 33-year-old Dorian Brooks of Savannah, Georgia, was found deceased from gunshot wounds. The discovery was made by police officers around 2:50 a.m. near the intersection of Interstate 16 and Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard following a report of an injured person. Brooks, who was born on February 23, 1986, was also known to have ties to Hardeeville, South Carolina. He was a father and was remembered for his passion for creating music and his charitable ...
