Javante Jackson, a 26-year-old African American male from Columbus, GA, tragically lost his life on January 1, 2020. His death was the result of a single gunshot wound to the abdomen, which occurred during a planned robbery. The incident took place at the Elizabeth Canty Apartment complex, where police discovered his lifeless body outside one of the buildings. When officers arrived at the scene, they found Jackson's pockets turned inside out, indicating that he had been robbed.
