De’Lano Plummer, a 23-year-old African American male from Snellville, GA, was found dead on February 4, 2020. His body was discovered near the intersection of Hightower Trail and Donald Road in Snellville. A passerby noticed Plummer's body and called the police, initially suspecting that he might have been hit by a car or injured. However, upon arrival, officers determined that Plummer had been shot multiple times.
