In the early morning hours of February 7, 2020, a tragic event unfolded in the parking lot of the Clayton Homes facility in Waycross, Georgia, culminating in the death of 41-year-old Virginia Nicole Hill, an African American woman. The incident, which was determined to be a murder-suicide, also resulted in the death of her 44-year-old husband, Laurence Hill Jr.
