Taylor Marie Jowers, a 10-year-old girl from Waycross, Georgia, tragically died on April 4, 2014. Taylor, a fifth grader at Wacona Elementary School, was at her residence when the incident occurred. She was a native and lifelong resident of Waycross and attended Waresboro Church of God. On that fateful day, Taylor was struck in the chest by a blast from a 12-gauge shotgun.
