In the early morning hours of May 13, 2020, the life of 28-year-old Vincent Bernard Smalls Jr. was tragically cut short in Savannah, Georgia. Responding to a report of a shooting at approximately 1:10 a.m. in the 2300 block of Pinetree Road, Savannah Police officers discovered Smalls with a life-threatening gunshot wound. Despite immediate medical attention, he succumbed to his injuries.
